More Information
Webster Parish Jail, located at Webster Parish County, Los Angeles, is a medium security prison placed under the jurisdiction of its city. Throughout the years, the jail has been under watch, ensuring that the safety of civilian lives will never be harmed. The Webster Parish Jail was made back in 1885, where it began to look for criminal suspects across the growing county.
Criminals are first sent to a different jail before they are relocated to the Webster Parish Jail. Before they are transferred, they are required to have their paperwork regarding their personal information and what crime they have committed. Most of the time, the inmates are required to stay in jail before they are either sentenced to remain locked up for a certain amount of time or released from jail if the offenses are minor and acquired from all of their charges.
The offenses made by the inmates vary, from what led them to their actions to how severe the damage is made, but they are usually arrested for drunk driving, harming the innocent or going into an extreme fight, or any form of theft. The jail lets the inmates have access to a large bathroom facility, at least three meals a day, an educational program to redeem their offenses, and basic access to television. Those that are more likely to follow the law from now on are also given a work release program among many special services that will help them seek a better life while staying away from crime.
