The institution has a program that is responsible for regulating visits. The facility uses the policy so that it can allow all the inmates to have a privilege to be visited by their friends, family, and legal attorneys. However, these people should visit the inmates under the consistency of the security protocols stipulated by the facility. All the Immediate family members who include, children, mother, father, wife, and siblings are allowed to visit an inmate. However, when it comes to half-siblings and step-parents, it will depend on whether they spent a substantial number of years with the inmate.

Persons under the age of 18years will only be allowed to visit an inmate if they are under the guidance of a parent or guardian. All persons who had been involved in a felony in the past are not allowed to visit. Smoking of tobacco or any substance that has tobacco is prohibited in and the environs within the facility. Livestock or pets are not allowed in the facility. It is also prohibited to leave them in the vehicles when visiting. Only certified service animals are permitted in the facility property. Any questions about the certified animals will be extended to the Warden.

Victors should not stay around the facilities’ compound. They are all expected to have made the necessary transport arrangements if they finish their visit. Visitors are prohibited from loitering for an extended period in the lobby area especially when waiting for a ride. The facility only accepts a limit of 25 persons to visit an inmate. Any excess person will not be included in the visiting list. Once a visitor is excluded in a visitors list, they will have to wait for 90 days before they are placed on the visiting list.

The facility’s warden has the power to approve special visits. Attorneys are allowed to visit an inmate at around 8 AM till 12 Noon or from 1 PM to 5 pm. Visits on business days, the attorney has to call 24 hrs in advance. Visitors are searched at the gate before they are allowed in. All visitors’ property is also subjected to search. A metal detector at the gate scans all visitors as they enter the visiting area.

Cell phones are not allowed in the lobby area. Visitors are only allowed to enter with their car keys, handkerchief, wedding rings, wallet, and wristwatch. Visitors must be dressed in a manner that is not distracting. Appropriate dressing codes apply to all men, women, and children. The policy is to maintain an inoffensive picture to the inmates. Visitors are allowed to kiss and hug inmates from the beginning of the visit to the end. Moments of embrace are only limited to 30 seconds per embrace. All persons who might attempt to engage in sexual contacts will be escorted outside and visitation privileges terminated.
