Baltimore Metro Transition Center is a low security jail which falls under jurisdiction of city of Baltimore Police Department. The jail is maintained and operated by officers at Baltimore Police department. Baltimore Metro Transition Center is mainly used to temporarily hold new detainees before moving them to nearest county Jail.
