For example in August of 2012, an inmate was found dead in his cell at the Detention Center. According to the department, the inmate died of natural causes during his sleep. The inmate was waiting to leave, he hadn't posted bond and was found unresponsive in his bed. According to the evidence, there was no foul play. Life at the Acworth Detention Center hasn't been a walk in the park, but it certainly seems to be looking up.
