More often than not, the jail engages some inmates in various jobs such as laundry and cooking but on some little pay. The payment is deposited in a commissary, an account which houses the inmate’s money.

The jail is very passionate about showing the inmates some love. So it encourages the relatives to send them packages. Greeting cards during their birthdays or ideal holidays are also a way of expressing your love for them. There is nothing which gives an inmate excitement than reading a written message of their relatives; however simple it sounds. So don’t wait until the moment has passed to say ‘I wish I Knew.’
